Originally from New York, Chef Katie began working in restaurants as a dishwasher at the age 15.
Within a year she went from dishwasher to prep cook to serving as head chef while attending high school. Throughout college she worked in all aspects of the hospitality industry. She then migrated to the corporate world but knew it wasn't for her. At the age of 30, decided to dedicate her life to the culinary arts and relocated to Los Angeles where everything began to take off.
